About Us

Hello,

My wife and I created this website to serve as a free resource for campers.  We named it State Parks Camping because we spend much of our time in Florida State Parks.  We will also be reviewing each and every place we stay whether that be private campgrounds, National Parks, or boondocking.

My idea was originally to create a scrapbook for all of our camping trips that we could keep on the coffee table at home and occasionally reminisce.  We all take many pictures of our trips and they get lost in our phones or cameras, never to be seen again.  I’m not very crafty, so I decided against the scrapbook thing and do a website (digital scrapbook) instead.  After much thought, I started to get excited about the idea of helping others in the process.

We sincerely hope that you check back often to see what is new.  We will be providing many free resources from packing lists to Maps and everything in between.  We hope to have guest writers, product reviews, and all sorts of cool stuff!
